Children in Harmful Professions
The government has laid down no provision for them. Some of them, who are not even lucky to get a job, earn their living as rag pickers, sweepers, toilet cleaners etc. This is their age to read, write, play, go to school etc., but it is not so. They should also have an equal right to education and comfortable living as the other 40 per cent of the children have.
Take the example of Shravan Kumar who is employed in a fireworks factory. He is only 12 years of age. He makes crackers, bulbs, electric rods etc. This is the age to play, read and write, but he is helpless. He has a mother and four sisters to provide for. There are thousands of children like him who need attention and love.
The children are the future citizens of our country. If the bulk of our child population is in this pathetic condition, our country can't progress. It is a bad example of our society and country. It is now up to us to do something for these children. We should co-operate with the government in finding a solution to this problem. It is a grave matter, which merits immediate attention.

ReplyDeleteThis article is very much true
if the children of Pakistan will not get education so they would never be successful
As,
we children of GMBK Ict club went to government school to do some fun activities and to teach them it was a great experience
Like this if citizens of Karachi do this with every poor child who wants to study i am sure that Karachi's literacy rate will increase......

Oh My God...so sad to know this.I don't believe that what government is doing? Why only rich ones can afford to study, why not the poor ones?Today on a civic project i[Aamna] went to a government school so i realized that our country literacy rate is extremely low and when we were teaching them so they were so much eager to learn,I wish i can do anything for them but government should do something because every child is important and we,children are the future of our country so by reading this article can we say proudly that our future is in right hands.
ReplyDeleteChild labor and poverty are increasing day by day in Pakistan which is leading to a downfall in our society, country and the world. Children are the future, respect and leaders of our country so it's necessary for the government and the people of Pakistan to provide a good education, home and life to the children who are less fortunate and poor.Brighter and happier leaders lead to a successful, peaceful and brighter future and Pakistan.

The real reason due to which our country is not improving is this that the children, the new generation of Pakistan are not getting education. As a patriot, we should realize that for the betterment of our country EVERY child should get education. So that he/she can bring positive changes in the society with the power of knowledge.
ReplyDeletePlz tell me all, how can we all get education at the same level? I mean no govt. vs private school... plzz must comment..
ReplyDeleteNow, the thing is that, nowadays there is a lot of racism and differentiation between the poorer ones and the richer ones not only in Pakistan but all over the World, the richer ones are given admissions in high progressive private schools and the poorer ones are left behind, given education in some type of least progressive government schools.. it all depends on the people are they creating difference such as the poor and richer ones or not.. the only way to stop this differentiation is that we should design posters/banner to convey this message to the citizens that we all are one, equal and there shouldn't be any racism or caste system there should be unity.. :) if the people understand then that will result in a vast amount of change in the society and child labor, racism, caste system will be abolished.
